The FDA has recently had NAC removed from shelves (to make it hard to get like HCQ and Ivermectin?) but for some reason, at present, they can still be found in some stores and some online sources.
Safe, effective medications are available to treat Covid. The Covid 'vaccines' are harmful and unnecessary.
PING
Can confirm that the FDA is reclassifying NAC to require a prescription. I have a family member who owns a Vitamin Shoppe franchise, and they were ordered to box up all of their NAC. Apparently glutathione is being targeted next.
That’s absolutely disgusting to me. Big pharma HATES competition, and now the government is removing effective treatments for a disease that they proclaim is so deadly under the guise of public health.
This behavior tells me that the government is not interested in public health. There’s something else going on.
From last month.....
NAC Banned on Amazon, Threatened by FDA
https://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2021/06/17/nac-banned-on-amazon.aspx
Yep. Push to decriminalize harmful recreational drugs but banning health based supplements is ... odd.
Dang! I missed this!
Luckily I have about a years supply.
Does anyone know what a good replacement would be for the NAC?
NAC can still be bought, iHerb.com, Walmart, Walgreens all have it.
In a nutshell..drink plenty of wine.
Over a year ago, Dr. Roger Seheult was pointing out the role of glutathione and oxidative stress on respiratory illnesses. I began supplementing with NAC after watching his lecture. NAC is a precursor to glutathione.
See "Coronavirus Pandemic Update 70: Glutathione Deficiency, Oxidative Stress, and COVID 19," May 14, 2020.
This is an excellent lecture (a background in organic chemistry is helpful to understanding -- which I don't have).
Not sure of a replacement. Sorry.

Great post. I’ve taken NAC for well over a year in addition to HCQ + zinc, etc regimen. Not even a runny nose. Then
If you cannot tolerate the smell of N-acetyl cysteine you can try this:
https://immunotec.com/CorpOrphan/shop/product/00010000
It is specially cold processed whey that increases glutathione. It is useful for people who are unable to swallow tablets or capsules and does not have the sulfurous smell of N-acetyl cysteine.
Or did I?
I will supply the Cliff notes for you lazy Freepers.
THE VAX IS BAD.
You're welcome.
Can’t believe they haven’t banned vitamin D and C yet.
ltr
pong
That will likely be NEXT.
Good thing we can (well, most of us can) get our Vit D from the sun.
Will they ban THAT, next?
π
Cliff Notes? My pleasure.
Glutathione (aka GSH) supports an ACE/ACEII balance that helps prevent cytokine storms. (Way oversimplified, but that's what you need to know.)
Now, how to boost GSH?
Vitamin D boosts GSH production. (And magnesium and vitamin K to help convert the vitamin D to it's active form.)
Oh, never believe health info from anyone on line, even this. Do your own DD.
