How does the rate compare to the normal miscarriage rate?

Fair question, however your past posts suggest that you would defend the practice regardless. Here’s a fair question for you, “Why do veterinarians never recommend vaccinating pregnant animals?”

I remember the lines for polio sugar cubes as well as the smallpox vaccine in first grade....

I had an aunt pregnant and I believe she took the polio sugar cube at our local elementary

They opened for a month on weekends and you stopped by and took it

Orderly as I recall

As for vets and pregnant animals...indeed you are correct.
There is a distinction

Live vaccines are a no no
Killed ones are usually ok especially in latter half of gestation

Shorter gestation pets are more at risk

I wouldn’t vaccinate a pregnant pet just to be safe or I assume a pregnant woman unless it were dire...a real actual bring out the dead scenario...Ebola infections by the billions ...

I’m ambivalent

I was just with my late 80s aunt and uncle...they both had Covid last year

And the two stage vaccine three months ago

Neither had any side effects and he has pretty bad COPD

I have scar tissue on lungs from surgeries and pacemaker and pulmonary emboli and a leg clot...

I’m leery given what I read

I need the antibodies test...we think we all had it
