I think that it's remarkable how disputes over the meaning of Kant's Categorical Imperative break out in so many places nationwide. I mean, c'mon, man. Is it an absolute, unconditional requirement that must be obeyed in all circumstances and is justified as an end in itself, or should one just say FIDO?
Naturally, violence was the only resort.

I heard they were just having a spirited debate about the validity of “string theory” when some gang bangers drove by shooting and shouting “I’ve got your dark matter right here!”.

The worst ruckus I ever saw happened at a community picnic.
Blood everywhere, bodies beaten beyond recognition, EMT’s using sheets because they were out of body bags. I’m telling you the ground just couldn’t soak up all the blood and one crazed guy was being hauled off for taking swings at Deputies with a severed arm.
My date and I began to question LEO’s as to the cause of the matter.
One deputy said it all started over a cat.
“A cat?” I asked.
“Yeah” he replied. “A damned cat. Who in the hell is this Schrodinger and what in God’s name is so special about his cat? “
