Ya, they should take a look at all the fires in AZ this year. Trees and brush doesnt burn you know...LOL.

They sure are learning that maybe, just maybe it wasnt such a good idea to shut down nearly all the forest products industry in this state like they did in the 80s.

Let it burn. All of it.
I know its a bad attitude, but WTH!

The only thing I can say is that you and all of your neighbors HAVE to get at the USFS and demand they thin those forests out. Then DEMAND that they work to get forest products industries to move to this state and use that raw material. The GD USFS is trying to play both sides in this issue. The state is pretty much on our side, the USFS? Nope.

Just think on this, all that wood residue that is burning would supply a couple of bio mass co generation plants enough fuel to produce electric power for MONTHS and MONTHS for us.

NAW, lets set up a whole bunch of bird choppers first.

Well that is one thing cool about Az. They do go out and mark trees and allow controlled cutting with a cheap permit. Even on federal lands. Contact the local BLM/forestry service. They will give you a map of areas they have marked trees to be thinned out. I had to jump them one time because they went onto my private property on the hill and marked trees for cutting. I was like “wait! those are not yours!”. lol

They had to go out and “unmark” them... I DO NOT want my trees cut and I have 100% timber rights.
