The Chauvin conviction and sentencing are unfortunate for many reasons, not the least of which is the substantial doubt (at least in my mind) that he murdered Floyd. But the consequence of that prosecution, unintended or not, is that police officers now are afraid to do their jobs. So, no need for the Left to take any heat for their “defunding” demands when threats of prosecution accomplish the goal of crippling the police.
They want to tax and regulate us to subsistence levels and then we’ll be their perpetual entertainment as they watch us turn on one another like this.
