I was astounded to learn that a few years ago, Lindbergh Field, San Diego’s airport, was renamed San Diego International Airport, and a mural of Charles Lindbergh has been removed.

How long before they get rid of ‘San Diego’? Can’t have “Saint “ as part of a city’s name. Speaking of Saints, St Louis Airport (Lambeau Field to Obama, Lambert Field to everyone else) has a full-sized replica of Lindbergh’s Spirit of St. Louis hanging from the ceiling. Wonder if it will have to come down.

There is some justification to purging Lindbergh. He was a Nazi supporter and even received a medal from Hitlers regime.
