Edgar ran out of instruments to play, so he played the amp it looks like. Amazing performance.
Saw the Edgar Winter group back in the early 70’s in Seattle, great concert from what I recall - the opening act was Black Oak Arkansas.
They played in a little club in Myrtle Beach in 1990. Great show and had a blast.
ah. The Warehouse. Saw many concerts there. I am not sure I saw the concert you mentioned but I saw Ten Years After, Pink Floyd, ELP and others at that venue.
In those early years you could get quite close to the stage. In 1970 I saw Pink Floyd when there were probably less than a hundred people there. I was able to lean on the stage just a few feet from the band.

I know what you mean. My ears still ring!

What ?
I saw that tour in St. Louis. I thought Black Oak kind of stole the show.
Edgar Winter is an extremely talented musician. How many people can play at that level on drums, keyboards and Saxophone? And guitar too!

That song was one of my favorites back then, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen it!
Quadraphonic...omg, now THAT was a blast from the past! Alice Cooper sounded amazing on quad..
What’s that have to do w/ Edgar Winter?
We’ll see if anyone gets the reference...
saw them
