Xylitol causes some people gas, and is toxic to dogs and cats. I’ve never tried it, but I hear it’s a good product, otherwise.
You’ve had it in gummies and things. More than about four and yes, you’ll have problems.
I’m very careful with my dogs. The alcohol sugars can cause GI distress in some people, but I’ve used Xylitol and Erythritol without issue. I find Xylitol to be better tasting and dissolves better.
