There were two so called Firearm Violations in DC that day. One guy made a wrong turn and ended up in DC. Forget what the other one did. Nobody near the Capitol Building was caught with a Firearm.
I live in a Free State with Constitutional Carry, have a CC Permit, am a Conservative White Male and I would NEVER think of carrying my Firearm in that Commie Police State Hellhole.
If I was caught with my Weapon I would be locked up for Life after experiencing a Political Show Trial.
Not worth the risk. I would have to depend on situational awareness and not stray too far from the crowd of a Jury of my Color, uh Peers. Of course, I have no plans to travel anywhere my CC Permit is not honored.
There is a huge difference between people charged with violation and actually doing something.
There is a stop sign in front of my house, 95% of the people do not come to a full stop and few if any get cited for it, does that mean everyone who comes to that stop sign comes to a complete stop?
There were thousands of people who entered the capital building that day, and thousands more outside. If you think a crowd of that size has no one carrying then you are naive. Unless you have some sort of metal detector/body search etc they all most pass through before entering I guarantee you a certain number of folks were armed.
Doesn’t mean that they have any evil intent, but you are truly, truly naive, if you think at any public gathering, peaceful or otherwise, and regardless of its purpose, or where it is held, of thousands of individuals that none of them are armed, you are just not living in reality.
You seem to think what you would do applies to everyone else on the street, and that’s just not the case. If it were you wouldn’t have some of the highest rates of gun violence happening in places with some of the strictest gun laws.
There is ZERO, absolutely ZERO chance, that no one who entered the building that day as part of the protests/riot was armed.
I am sure most weren’t, but none, that’s a comical claim to make.
But getting back to the original point, needing nukes or f14’s to protect yourself from the government....
They behaved like cowards and hid from just a few thousand mostly unarmed folks just walking in their building... Ant’s and grasshoppers... Some of the most violent and despicable governments have been toppled by citizenry who weren’t even legally allowed to own firearms. The proposition put forth by Biden that, he we have F-14 or Nukes, therefor your guns do you no good is ludicrous... but he doesn’t even know what day of the week it is, or where he is most of the time anyway
