Forget it, Jake. It’s New York.
Andrew Yang was promising but too wishy washy and deluded into thinking the Democratic Party would bolster him. He should have ran as an independent and been more firm in his stances .
Curtis has a real shot.
No non-machine candidate can overcome the fraud there.
Rudy Guliani became mayor based on his promise {which he kept} to clean up crime in the city.
The voters were still demonRATs but were sick of over FIVE MURDERS A DAY, EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR.
Think about that statistic and then it becomes easy to see how Rudy got elected.
Remember, NY City was not like Pittsburgh, and almost no citizens were legally armed.
In Pittsburgh citizens could legally carry, which is/was a deterrent to the bad guys.
New York was/is unsafe because the political leaders were/are pussies.

The fix was in.
To the Left, and other enemies of the United States, this is/was a very true statement.
I live in this craphole state, thugh well north of the bigger craphole called NYC.
My personal hope is that racist Maya whatever her name, AOC’s candidate, wins big and completely decimates the city.
Sorry, but NYers are TOO FAR GONE!
Oh, they're woke, very woke, and gleefully embrace the filth and insanity that others find reprehensible.
It’s too late.
Beg to differ on Eric Adams, a long time race baiter, liar, wants social workers to do police work, claims he lives in Brooklyn while he’s shacking up in Jersey, longtime Faraquan supporter.
I hope Sliwa wins, but NYC votes democrat these days. I live 70 miles from NYC & people actually commute there. The local busses were going back & forth all day & night. Nowadays not so much. Plus, people aren’t going there for the day anymore to see a show. Shows are shut down & crime is bad. You would think big media in NYC would care, but they don’t. They won’t support Curtis.
As it was the only choice for a while on the radio for talk, I listened to the “Curtis and Kuby” show. Sliwa was paired with Ron Kuby the ultra leftie lawyer acolyte of William Kunstler. Kuby ran circles around Curtis every day of the week. It was pathetic. Curtis is a great guy, as he likes to say, “a rock-ribbed Republican”, but he is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, putting it kindly. Sad to say, I don’t think he is up to the job of being mayor of one of the world’s most important cities. Even sadder, Eric Adams is probably smarter, but an awful race hustler. The future of New York City is bleak.
