Something has been swirling around the back of my mind, and I haven’t seen anybody else publicly address it.

By using Ivermectin, an antiparacitic, are they saying that covid is a paracite?
Quinine is also an antiparacitic remedy.

So why does it take a change in dna to supposedly cure it?(ie the vaccines), but the antiparacitics work better?

The current narrative doesn’t add up.

Ivermectin was originally developed to fight parasites and it was very good at it. So good that it is in the WHO model list of essential medicines.
,
But a bonus was discovered during research done to use repurposed drugs to fight the Coronavirus.

Ivermectin binds to and destabilises the Impα/β1 heterodimer thereby preventing Impα/β1 from binding to the viral protein (bottom) and preventing it from entering the nucleus. This likely results in reduced inhibition of the antiviral responses, leading to a normal, more efficient
antiviral response.
