The traditional American middle class is all alone. Wee have no friends other than Donald Trump.

This may sound a bit paranoid but I'm not even sure about Trump. Granted he had some brilliant ideas about border security and keeping us out of wars. While his Supreme Court picks have been disappointing lately they are at least less pro-abortion than their predecessors, and for that he will always have my gratitude. But my taxes went nowhere but up during his presidency. Our deficit reached $1 trillion even before the pandemic, which is contributing to the inflation currently eating up our savings. Can anyone name a conservative bill successfully passed by Trump and the GOP when they had control of the House, the Senate, and the Presidency from 2016 to 2018? The final straw for me was when he mocked those of us attempting to protect our vulnerable family members by wearing masks.

Trumpism itself is a breath of fresh air from the milquetoast RINOs. But given his advanced age, his weight, and his tendency to piss off even some conservatives it's time to look beyond Trump for 2024. Let the man retire with dignity and honor.

China Mitch blocked Trump’s tax plan. He only did the corporate part. Paul RYNO blocked wall funding, infrastructure, threw the House to Pelosi, etc.

You are right that Trump got basically nothing out of Congress but that’s not on him.
