Also, coronavirus had been around for years with variations; epidemiologists had been working on vaccine cures. One problem with coronavirus is its ability to mutate frequently so that vaccines were of limited efficacy.
That is one thing that led to experimentation with mRNA vaccines - to attack a common aspect of that particular virus. It is important to note that one of the vaccine's creators keeps warning that it is experimental BUT the media keeps censoring him so that hardly anyone hears his warnings.
It is also noteworthy that gain of function research is the same as biological warfare research - to experimentally advance a more common virus or pathogen to a level that has no known remedy. So - why was Faucci giving China American dollars to do such research?
