They use our inherent goodness against us with the assumption we won’t “shrug” and relieve ourselves of the load.
There are people moving out of communist states and running to free states. That will hasten their ultimate demise. However I am not running to a free state, I surely could I have the means now after working and saving for my 40+ years of work life.
But I am choosing to run in local elections and push where I can and hope others join in and stand and fight for my city and thus by extension our country.
I live in the bluest of blue states, and my wife isn’t leaving, which means...I’m not leaving.
For better or worse, I have to stay with her. I hope it isn’t “worse”.
I could leave and have the means to do so, but...I have always viewed Leftism as a cancer that can’t be contained or stopped by a line on a map. And I have always felt that running away or retreating in the face of it isn’t the solution either.
