several video clips at link showing how crowded it's become already. And with crowds come people behaving badly. Plan your summer accordingly.

Well, the parks HAVE been advertising to and desiring a more, shall we say, urban crowd.

People who can’t afford Disneyland are slumming at the parks.

it would not surprise me at all if they start making everybody register to come to the National parks and spots are allotted.....and yes, people that never go or care about going to a national park will get first dibs and priorities because of George F.

My wife and I had a reservation for Glacier National Park starting tomorrow. We had to cancel it about a month ago as we looked into getting a rental car and there was not one available for over 100 miles. From my experience at the parks, it is primarily Asians and Europeans.

You can’t CLOSE NATURE

I’m a mountain biker. And have exploited this issue many times

Oh gee! Park closed huh ?

Well I guess I’ll have it all to myself then !

( generally I see others doing the same )

Garbage on the ground..... Done completely by regressives. Conservatives do not litter. In fact, we clean up after our selves and others to an extreme.

I visited Arches & Canyonlands in mid-May. Both were spotless - no graffiti, no trash. Arrived Arches 3pm, woman at gate did say park closed that morning before 10am for 3 hours. They need to wait for 30% of the crowd to leave to reopen. Passed by the entry the next morning at about 9am on the way to Canyonlands. Arches was already closed. It’s a small park. We’ve been to a dozen NPs in the last 5 years. We always go before Memorial Day our after Labor Day. Never crowded.

Increase in graffiti, piles of human waste, and trash.

Just when you thought feral dogs were the greatest risk by being outside.

FTA: “This year has been over the top with new visitors who really are not educated as to how to appropriately recreate,” Joette Langianese, director of a nonprofit called Friends of Arches and Canyonlands Parks

Joette: Sniff sniff nose held high.....
