The huge problem came to light with the Norovirus. The ships always follow the same routes, and they also dump their waste in the water on those routes. And with inadequate filtration they use that same water for drinking. The filters take out bacteria, but not viruses.

Which is why, cruise after cruise resulted in plague ships, and no matter how well they cleaned the ship after, they keep getting Norovirus epidemics.

Why shouldn’t the same thing happen with Coronavirus?

The people taking cruises are going to find out.

I wouldn’t take one for free if NORO and COVID didn’t exist, but that’s just me. Maybe I’d take one those river cruises on a boat that holds about 50 people. Nah, probably not. I like to call my shots when I travel.
