Brother, my heart goes out to you. My psoriasis is not that bad. It covers my hands every three to four weeks and I use a steroid cream which pretty much takes care of it.

I’ve only had this about seven years. Used to get it on my feet before I knew what it was. Now it seems the more stressed I am the more outbreaks I have. Have had a new job about 18 months and the stress level can be very high. Outbreaks more common now.

I have seen photos and read about people with serious cases and I pray I am not headed down that path. It just looks terrible.

Yeah my scalp was covered. Embarrassing. Then my back and just went everywhere. The itching will drive you nuts. I was lucky and didn’t have it on my feet. That has got to me miserable on your feet, itching and having to putting on shoes and walking all day at work. I used a cream (taclonex) for years and it quit working. When you are sick or stressed or fighting a injury it gets worse.

Try colloidal oatmeal. I know, it sounds weird but it helped me as I didn’t want to continue with steroid creams.

The brand I use is Aveeno Eczema Therapy. I’m sure “mileage will vary” and it takes a while of regular use for it to be effective.
