Next year it falls on Father’s Day. So from now on, Father’s Day is replaced by a holiday for the culture that trashes fatherhood.

Yes. Africa remains tribal, and in many areas the culture is that the man does not live with his wife/wives after marriage. They have only conjugal visits. The woman lives with the other females in her family, and they collectively care for any offspring among them.

Sound familiar? The one difference here is that the welfare state substitutes for the female family grouping.

In 1960, family formation among blacks was stronger than for whites. America was de-tribalizing the descendants of the Negro slaves. Blacks had switched from the Republican party of Lincoln to the Democrat party of chattel slavery because of the New Deal policies of FDR. With Johnson and his Great Society programs, the Democrats busted up the black family and made women and children wards of government, many living in urban plantations (inner cities) run by Democrat political machines. Husbands/fathers were once again freed from family responsibilities and could abandon their wives for the irresponsible baby-daddy lifestyle.

Not always, only every seven or eight days. Father’s Day stays on Sunday while a fixed date holiday rotates through the week.
