The AMA rejected Hydroxychloroquine as an early treatment while President Trump was in office, and then reversed themselves once he lost the election.

Lately, I'm afraid that the AMA is going the way of the ABA. They make their designations based on the politics of the decision, like the ABA not giving "well qualified" designations to Republican judicial picks.
