Ignore the idiot Luddites around here. Thank you for posting the article. Hopefully, other people will read and comprehend and not unnecessarily suffer.
A gentleman I work with contracted COVID two or three weeks after his first dose. He was very ill, hospitalized, and almost ready to go on a ventilator. The were debating a DNR order. He finally was able to fight it off. Doctors said that the head start the first shot gave him probably saved his life.
He and his wife debated getting the vaccine at all, probably due to listening to crackpot theories like FR is lousy with nowadays.
People are 'luddites' for calling out the fallacy of this article???

Or, the first shot is what caused him to contract china virus, in the first place. π
He and his wife debated getting the vaccine at all, probably due to listening to crackpot theories like FR is lousy with nowadays.
Your story isn't a very convincing "sell" of these shots.
And, calling the questioning the of safety and efficacy of these experimental shots 'crackpot' IS very telling.
“Doctors said that the head start the first shot gave him probably saved his life.”
Ridiculous speculation.
He and his wife debated getting the vaccine at all, probably due to listening to crackpot theories like FR is lousy with nowadays.
Hmmm...the gentleman didn't get COVID-19 in the year and a half since it's been in the U.S. but somehow gets sick and almost dies two weeks after his first dose of an experimental treatment. Yet, people who won't subject themselves to an experimental treatment are crackpots?
I have had the two jab Pfizer for about two months now, and last weekend, I felt a cold coming on.
Basically, it was a common cold, a nuisance.
I had a wet cough(phlegm), runny nose, and sneezing occasionally. No fever, no sore throat, no headaches, no muscle fatigue, no chills, you get the idea.
It is a classic cold. Heck I still remember the summer cold I had when I was 18, I'm in my 50's, and it was worse.
I feel better today.
Translation: Hopefully people are big enough suckers to fall for this vax salesman's pitch.
probably due to listening to crackpot theories like FR is lousy with nowadays.
You mean crackpot theories like 'the vax is safe and effective'? Those crackpot theories?
Yea, you're probly right.
