If you are hard-wired to store fat, then you are eating carbs which are poisonous to you. You can only store fat when producing insulin. Insulin is produced in the presents of sugar in the blood. Stop it. Eat only meat. You will lose weight. You can eat as many hams as you like (not the honey sweet ham). Eat steaks. Eat eggs and bacon. Sugar, flour and corn are poison. Some people can eat it just fine. You can’t. So stop the whining. And start a carnivore life. You will live longer and be much thinner.

Every human is hard wired to store fat. That’s just a plain natural fact.

Excess calories over and above necessary to maintain basal metabolism and any exertion are stored in adipocytes (fat cells).

Carbohydrate by itself isn’t “poison” for people who need lots of calories (in my opinion). But it’s like high octane, or rocket fuel, when most people are sitting on their ass in front of a computer, watching television, sleeping, etc.

A truly sedentary individual probably needs only maybe 1000 to 1500 calories a day to maintain their weight. That’s a peanut butter sandwich, chips, and a tall glass of milk. Done. For the whole day.

That’s why everybody has ballooned.

Bullshit.

East 5,000 calories a day of prime rib and lobster ONLY and you will gain weight if you don’t burn it off.

The reason zero carb diets work is because they suppress appetite.

Veggies and fruits are OK too.

There are nutrients that they provide that people need.

Absolutely cut the carbs though, especially wheat. It’s hard, I know, but when wheat dropped out of my diet and I switched to oats, the weight fall off.
