There is no stewardship, no living in balance with nature. Nature will kill you; it bounces from extreme to extreme. There will be feast and famine. Floods and drought. Real men seek to control those things.
Build damns, develop irrigation, drain swamps, plant forests.
If you sit back and take an idle hand with nature it will destroy everything you value and created.
Humanity had to claw its way up and out of the dirt and mud, if we did nothing we’d still be there.
