So who murdered the murder hornet? THE FBI will assign 200 agents to this.

Around here (GA/NC border) the bastid yellow jackets kill off the regular hornets about the time the hornet nests get about the size of a baseball. Yellow jacket wasps are half the size of hornets.

Weirdest thing I ever saw...

It is said that these murder hornets originate from Japan and China. I wonder if these hornets are not a bio weapon created by China?

No joke, I found one of these sitting on the floor in my living room a month ago (south jersey). It was night, it was just sitting there. I have one of those tennis racket style bug zappers so I fried it and tossed it outside. But I took pictures of the carcass. Same exact thing as in this article. I had no idea it could be a “murder hornet”. I never heard of them on the east coast. Yikes.

I suppose I ought to figure out who to report this to. The hornet is gone but I still have the pics. I put it next to a quarter for size reference. Big.

usually they are found in areas around international airports. they hitch a ride on international flights in the holds and vents open on the ground, found many strange bugs at KCI that are not supposed to be in Missouri

Fear not Biden will give the Department of Agriculture 5 trillion dollars to handle the issue.

Same thing? The one in Seattle was dead when they found it, this was alive until it met me.
