Not a bad tune. He’s got a good voice and really good diction. Great backup band and steel guitar, too.
That Texas town would drive me to depression. Just looking at it in the video is depressing enough. I used to work in field service engineering in power plants around the country and stayed in many towns like that. Usually anybody under 35 in those towns was looking for a way to get out and most of those under 35 had already left.
Good kid. You may also like Leon Bridges as well. I hear they are pals.
