Authorities have yet to name the police office who fatally shot Babbitt as she attempted to enter a secured area of the Capitol building.
The husband of Ashli Babbitt has gone on television to push forward the effort to learn the name of the police officer who fatally shot his wife during the Jan. 6 Capitol breach.
"Somebody up in D.C. knows," Babbitt said Monday night on the Fox News Channel's "Tucker Carlson Tonight." "I think a lot of people know, but nobody is telling us. And the silence is deafening ... I never expected to lose my wife to political violence."
Babbitt, an Air Force veteran, was fatally shot as she attempted to climb through the broken window of a door to the Speaker's Lobby, just off the House floor.
In April, the Justice Department announced that it would not seek charges against the officer who shot Babbitt, 35, following a "thorough investigation" by the Metropolitan Police Department. The department said the officer fired a service pistol, hitting Babbitt in the left shoulder, but no further information was released to the family.
I once read that many of the Capitol Police are married to Washington politicians.
Guess which political party most applied.
I think it is a congresswoman personal security.
I believe that it was some one on Nancy Pelosi’s security team and they were reacting to the loss of the lap top that had been taken by someone minutes before the shooting. I believe the theft was viewed by security as it happened and that becouse of masks no clear identification was made but a verbal description went out over security coms. if you look at the lady who’s house in Alaska was raided by the FBI looking for the computer you will find that both women are very similar in features.
I will admit all of this is very speculative in nature it is just me looking for a reason for what happen.

I argee! The question has to be answered. The democrats cannot hide this murderer for ever. He murdered her on film and must be brought to justice. We will not be silenced. The man responsible for George Floyd dying was. Why not Mrs. Babbitt, because she was white. We will not stand still for this. Speak up white people. You have not done anything wrong. If Officer Chauvin was found guilty, so should this man. If it is fair for one man it is fair for the other. Otherwise, our country is gone!!!
This has never happened in our country before. We always know who the killer is soon after along with their history but now the democrats are in charge and literally having security camera footage now blurred. The media refusing to identify say a black person as the criminal. Blaming police for catching the criminal etc.
You can bet Pelosi is the one covering this up. This should be a warning that the democrats will murder anyone and they have the corrupt media backing them.
Pelosi has covered up treason by obama and Biden and Feinstein.
Look at the violence from the democrat party thugs around our country with no punishment.
IMHO - His life was not in immediate danger. imminent, maybe. Once she was through the window and took additional steps towards him would be immediate danger.

What puzzles me is I know there was a lot of excitement and action going on. But she had no weapon and he could see her hands while trying to climb through. He had people around him. He could have pushed her back through the window. Heck the 2 cops with assault rifles could have stopped her from crawling through. They let her crawl through. After the shot he was supposedly rushed out of the building. At least that’s what I heard but who knows.
I don’t think he was the guy.
