Trying to'splain stuff to scientists reminds me of that old Far Side cartoon where the first panel reads, "What we say to dogs" and it shows a guy saying to his dog, Fetch the stick, Rex. Go get it, Rex. Go get the stick, Rex." and then the next panel reads, "What they hear" "blah blah blah, Rex. Blah blah blah, Rex."
Ironic since this guy’s name is Markus Rex.
