“Retarded” is a perfectly fine word, but apparently no longer politically correct. In French, where I imagine the word comes from, ‘en retard’ means ‘late’. It’s as if the left truly believes that changing the word takes some of the sting out of reality and they seem to do it all the time. In my town, the ‘Alternative School’ changed its name to ‘The Academy’. Doesn’t fool anyone or really change anything.
