Boise cold? No, it’s about 2300 feet, when it snows it melts by noon, and it’s very hot and dry during the summer.

I agree; it’s not cold like the upper Midwest or New England. But the snow can stick around for weeks and months sometimes (I am lower elevation than Boise and we share the same storms).
