Use of dogs to trigger a search needs to be meticulously recorded, with actual outcome.

And alerting by any dog which has over 50% “false alarm” rate should no longer qualify as “probable cause”.

It should be 0% false alarm. Dogs are too smart and have too good of a sense of smell for any error. A dog sent out in the water to retrieve a duck will never come back with a chunk of wood as an error.
