The thing that has really pushed me over the edge is the government public health authorities out there saying we need enough people vaccinated to get to herd immunity, and totally discounting and not mentioning people like you! That’s criminally misleading if you ask me.
The other aspect to this is that many more people have had Covid than the official case counts reflect. People got a mild case of Covid, were over it in a couple days, they got on with life. But they also developed antibodies and natural immunity.
There’s very little info on official case counts versus total case counts due to mild going unreported. Surprised? I’m not, and I doubt you are. The one place I found something was in an NPR article, and of course the writer tried to turn the information into anti-Trump snark, because #TDS. Nevertheless there are some good nuggets of info in here.

The bottom line is total cases are about 4X the official case count. Take that plus the number vaccinated in the US, and we are very much at herd immunity. Which no one from the public health establishment is talking about, of course.

On the bright side, I am heartened by the large number of people who have remained immune to the pandemic panic propaganda and think rationally. However, I have run into normally right thinking Trump supporters who became convinced that catching the Covid was a death sentence. Then again, I live in a retirement community where EMT ambulances leave daily without lights and sirens as there is no longer a rush to get where they are going.
