OTTUMWA, Iowa — An Ottumwa woman is out on bond after police said she threatened to blow up the Wapello County Attorney's Office.
Court documents state 30-year-old Siearre Smith made the threat on May 25 and was arrested Wednesday.
She reportedly entered the lobby and started yelling at employees.
Smith is quoted as saying "this place needs blown up and that's exactly what I'm going to do."
She was charged with threat of incendiary or explosive device, a class D felony.

The police, prosecutors and judges take this stuff seriously. They know how much they’re detested throughout the country.
Being a LEO is a little like mowing lawns. You never really make any positive change, you just deal with ever growing weeds. Day in, day out... it just becomes the same thing and same people over and over. Eventually you recognize the “futility” of it all. The courts are a joke(not a funny one) and the “corrections” system is even worse. If they were to promise me a billion a year to fix it, I’d laugh in their face.
