I remember back in the 1980s or so watching a baseball(MLB)gameon TV.The home plate ump was sweeping off home plate and turned around to get into position behind the plate and fell face first dead from a heart attack.

I remember that as well. It was Opening Day, and as I recall, he was also massively overweight.

John Sherry. Calling a Cincinnati game. Marge Shott, owner at the time, asked if it would interfere with the game being played.
Of course, John was about 120 lbs. overweight.
