Of course, they weren't worried and stayed calm. They knew that a big, strong man would come out to rescue them ... this is Texas after all (even if too close to Austin).

I lived in Texas in the early 1970s and drove an ancient Ford flathead PU, that occasionally needed an assist.

Good people and super helpful.

Once, out on a back road on my motorcycle, and spotted a HUGE Tarantula!

I wanted it!
Found a milk carton and was attempting to corral the critter into the carton.

A cowboy stopped and ask what I was doing.

He picked up the tarantula with his bare hand and put it in the carton!!!

Texas!
