There is a video from years ago of two people on a jet ski flying over the Lake Lewisvill (Texas y’all) spill way at speed.
I lived on the Ohio River in Indiana as a kid. There was this one dam by our farmland I used to motor up the spillway with my Jon boat rather than wait for the lock. More than once the lock master would yell at me not to do it. After awhile, the yells became waves because I wouldn’t stop going up and over the spillway. Kayakers play in much rougher water than this particular spillway.
