I”d like to give the MRFF a piece of my mind from the viewpoint of a service brat, bounced from country to country and base to base, and rarely living ‘on’ base.

Vacation church camps and schools was one of a very few opportunities for a service kid to feel camaraderie with other service kids. To give them at least a small sense of belonging and consistency in their constantly changing worlds, while instilling values that carried through a life time. It's criminal to challenge this unique opportunity that has been so important in anchoring and contributing to the mental health of service kids.
