How governments worldwide have bungled the response to COVID is infuriating no doubt. But we’re beyond that now and must never let it happen again.
Modern medicine and something the government did do right, Operation Warp Speed, means that all people need to do to squash this virus like the bug is a simple injection or two.
And I don’t care if the dead were old, fat, or ugly. The simple fact is an easy way to have prevented their death was neglected. And tomorrow and the day after, another several hundred will suffocate for no reason.
Right up there with the Cuomo’s and Whitless’s of the world only in a different way.

The immunity from the vaccines we use in the USA, has been very well quantified, repeatedly, in extensive formal studies, conducted to highest scientific standards. You seem to forget, ignore or deny that. The fact is, that Pfizer and Moderna are NOT “far less effective than natural immunity”.

That’s it - “if”. No specific “what” or “how”, just if.

The presentation that I viewed was from February ( https://dryburgh.com/byram-bridle-coronavirus-vaccine-concerns/ ), and he threw out several other hypotheticals, that have since been repeatedly shown to not be valid - that Pfizer might only be 19% effective (if data then unavailable were worst case, which it turned out not to be), that Israel was only seeing 52% effectiveness with first shots, etc..
All the rest falls into the category of potential concerns, that were not only not realized, but in fact disproved since.
...and yes, that includes the hypothesis that vaccines designed on spike protein epitopes, might not be effective against variants. The Pfizer and Moderna very strongly ARE effective against variants.
In theory, a vaccine based on limited features of a virus MIGHT be less effective than natural immunity. But in practice, the spike protein receptor chosen for the vaccine is so critical to the operation of this virus, that other features are irrelevant.
So he raised a bunch of general points to look out for, but nothing that has panned out in the real world, now that over 300 million doses have been given, and case numbers have crashed as predicted (based on the high effectiveness observed in the trials, and every measure since).

There’s no real response from anyone against vaccines about Israel’s success. Just a whole lot of “wait and see” as they hope each day that masses of Israelis start dying because of vaccine problems, or that they get sick with COVID-19 because the vaccines don’t work.
Imagine that: hoping that people get sick and die just so you can be proven right.

Even though the number of cases is way down, they are overwhelmingly among the smaller set of unvaccinated people. The net result, is that in some sub-populations of unvaccinated people (as Washington State recently reported) the infection rate is almost as high as it was during the peak in January.
We will probably see COVID cases and deaths continue among the unvaccinated, for quite some time to come. Attitudes toward the vaccine will likely shift marginally, as this becomes more apparent over time.

So far, I have not seen a “D” variant on the CDC’s report in the USA, but a poster on the twitter thread you linked, indicated it is rampant in the UK:
