Happy anniversary! If nothing else, it says you’re alive and cognitively participating 20 years later.
Tom the Son arrived and took the brothers driving. When they get back, he and his dad will go shopping. Maybe I’ll get up the library, maybe not. The next person wouldn’t get their reserve book before Wednesday, anyway, because of the Monday holiday.
I checked with Lin’s and more walking sticks won’t be in until August, so I just got the water (I have to have at least a half-case extra on the tea cycle) and came home.
As I was leaving to come home, though, I saw an ambulance heading west out of town. I stopped at Sinclair to get gas, and heard another ambulance, probably from the station close to Casey’s and as I was headed home, there was one more coming from the next town over, I think.
There must have been something on the Southern Parkway, but its a new stretch of road and I have no idea where it goes, just that it seems to end on S.R. 9. I guess this means the 4th holiday has started.
I also got my power bill, but it looks suspiciously like my last power bill. Things that make you go, “Hmmm...”
