Interesting. For years, as I remember, aluminum was thought to be the culprit. I have assumed that is why we have seen the end of aluminum cookware.

We thought that as well. My mil and all of her sisters died from Alzheimer’s. They worked in some aluminum plant during WW2, came over covered in aluminum.
Step mummy dearest also had Alzheimer’s but she loved her sugar as did my mil. White bread, chips, toffee covered peanuts, etc etc etc were their snacks of choices. No fruit. Mil thought I was cRaZy eating green salads with fruit lol. I’m NOT crazy.. it’s delicious! Add a cutie tangerine, some chicken, celery, green beans, lettuce, carrots, radishes, etc.. chop fine, add some pecans and dressing. Best lunch every day!
I’m back to reading the Medical Medium’s book on healing your thyroid. He’s so out there with his angel “Sprit” speaking only to him, but I do like his food ideas. Lots of fruit and veggies. I’m not sure I can do smoothies, but I may try. At the very least I’ll loose a few pounds and need to reduce my thyroid meds. I’m just kind of skeptical on whether Hashimoto’s is caused by the Epstein Barr virus and therefore if you get rid of the EBV, you will heal. I’ll give it a try though. Then I wonder if Ivermectic would work on EBV, if that’s a cause of thyroid problems (well according to MM, all problems lol).
And he never cites sources... he’s a quack. BUT I still like his food ideas lol.
He also talks about detoxing from heavy metals. What’s the worst that could happen? I’ll end up losing some weight, eat healthier, maybe feel better. May die from healthy stuff lol. I REFUSE to drink 16 oz of celery juice first thing in the morning.. I draw the line there. Coffee plus cream.
