You have to live with that decision. Your fear is obvious.
I know plenty of folks who have taken the shot.....and not out of fear. The vaccine is probably a good idea for seniors, especially in high risk categories. I know several people that have died from Covid and they would have loved to have the opportunity for the vaccine had it been available.
Reasonable people can see and understand both sides of coin.
