“Ah, the “woke” equivalent of the “self hating Jew” “

It's not ‘self-hating’. It's actually somewhat the opposite.

Despite the fact that lot's of white children of blue-collar and middle class families (the majority of some Christian denomination) died rescuing Europe and emancipating the concentration camps, there is an underlying distrust of white Christians by a significant number of Jews. This may be a bit understandable because Hitler's Germany was nominally a Christian nation, but at the deepest and most intellectually honest level it is not a justifiable position - and is just wrong.

Compound this with the sentiment that is expressed in the comment one of my Jewish friends said to me “Everyone hates Jews and blacks”, and you understand that it isn't ‘self-hate’. It's believing that Jews are a minority like blacks, and that both are ‘put upon’ by the bad white people.

Ironically, it's white Christians who tend to be most pro-Jewish and pro-Israel. Go figure.

These sentiments are rarely face to face discussed between Jews and Christians, but they should be.
