Yes, of course a man is responsible for his children, he should contribute support to them. Notice the word contribute. In a divorce when the woman gets the kids she also has a responsibility to share in the support of those children. However the idea that most judges have that somehow the family can live separately and yet the man can still support everybody to the same degree is incredibly bad and bigoted mathematics.
My sister-in-law collected child support for 10 years never spent dime 1 on the kid. My wife and I and my mother-in-law bought the child all of her clothes and incidentals.
The point I am making is that when you read a short piece like this it’s about a 95% chance you’re getting a very incomplete picture. It’s best to keep that in mind
