I agree. I sometimes go to a place where you can order whatever toppings you want with no change in price (price is determined solely by size), and sometimes I order a modified Canadian bacon and pineapple with added jalapenos and red onion. I ask that the onion be added after cooking because I like it fresh and crisp.
On the down side, I don't like ANY kind of seafood on a pizza, especially anchovies, because of the smell.
