Yes, essentially.

It mandates that animals can only be used for consumption after they have lived a “natural life span”.

For cows, that can be 20 years or more. No one could afford beef with a 20 years of feed and care to pay for.

Wouldn’t the meat from a 20-year-old cow be kind of tough? Wouldn’t milking cows be considered a type of sexual abuse?

And chickens? How long do they live?
