Well… duh. Who knew that getting the disease made you largely immune to getting the disease again and thus making vaccination unnecessary. Of course it doesn’t hurt to have a study confirming that.

Imagine the outcome from a test being required for every single person before vaccinating them. ...or just taking every person’s word on whether or not they were previously infected. It would be a disaster either way.
