They should announce the new Ford Pinto in time for the Fourth of July. :-)

I always wondered why Ford named a vehicle after a legume - I mean, there just aren't that many vegetarians out there. And if they really HAD to go that route, why didn't their marketing guys insist on something with more style, like 'Garbanzo', 'Bambara', or 'Adzuki' instead?
