I tried. I was told the 2% whackjobs were too chickenspit to carry in Denver because it's against the law. Lol. By that token, they'll be the first to hand over their guns when it comes time, just like the oath breakers squealing like stuck pigs to the feds over their involvement in the mostly peaceful protest Jan 6 in DC. Traitors, all.
Or better yet, how about telling us what should have been done instead?
Or one better: How about you (or anyone else) let us know what a person or persons must do on our side to get your support (instead of insults)?
I swear if in the future someone was to write a book on how this country was lost, they could use the above comments as one of the examples.
Permission to speak freely?
The only thing more frustrating then what is going on in this country is the defeatist attitude of many on our side. Remember the phrase "if we don't hang together we most certainly will hang separately"? Well they've been grabbing us by the throat one person at a time and too many of us are literally re-arraging the deck chairs on the Titanic.
These in custody (let's call them the January Sixers) are American P.O.W.'s on our own soil and should be respected as such. What was done by most of these folks was completely legal until that fateful afternoon. Many are now being held in manners that violate the Eigth Amenment to the Constitution, and even the Geneva Convention. Even foreign leaders have been critical of this nations treatment toward the political opposition, and our side can only act as spectators from the sideline when not complaining why real insurrectionists are treated in the same fashion.
It's because we're at war. Deal with it.
And they are NOT whackjobs. They are people - OUR people, dammit !
So, I'll be direct: There are those of us doing are part to help ensure those in custody are at least treated well and given a fair hearing. The only difference between them and the rest of us is they chose to follow the directive of this nation's Cheif Executive and come to Washington to air legitimate greviences (yup - right out of the Constitution). They were even invited in. As far as I am concerned, if those reading this message can't at least give respect to those in custody, then please just SHUT UP.
