That’s a great line. I used a variation to it several years back when the company I used to work for suddenly embraced perversity, “Why would anyone want to be proud of buggery”.
I was already n a retirement escape trajectory so I didn’t care what their reaction might be (or so I thought). They took me off my job and assigned me to the Helpdesk answering phones - an entry level position.
I’m glad I got out when I did!
