I’ve seen both bands live- its’ not even close- Led Zeppelin by a million miles...

Led Zeppelin was able to take their songs from vinyl to another level live. The Stones?? They needed back up singers, additional musicians, brass pieces in order to play many of their studio songs live.

Stairway, Kashmir, The Immigrant Song, Achilles Last Stand are incredible studio songs that were even more incredible live. I’ve yet to find a single song by the Stones they were able to elevate live.

Well, then, find a high quality audio of "Brussels Affair, Live 1973." The electric version of "Angie" is unique and spectacular.

The entire '95 opening show in Miami was fantastic, backup vocalists and all, especially "Monkey Man" and "Dead Flowers." "Miss You" was unreal. I was in the 2nd row, dead center. You can easily find the soundboard bootleg called "Miami Dice."
