Lucero is a new musical discovery of mine, a country rock band out of Memphis, Tennessee. They kind of do their own thing which is mostly touring around America and doing live concerts and such. They have 11 albums to their credit.
This particular song of theirs is on their most recent album titled "When You Found Me" and thought I'd share it here because it's pretty good music.
More country rock, but a good song. Like the guitar.
And now for something completely different:

Pretty good song. Good story...not your typical got my pickup truck with my girl in her daisy dukes...sippin’ on a cold brew out in the backwoods...telling the world to slow down a spell...oh..and my best friend...my dog...
You left out Mama, Trains and Prison.
Reminds me of the old joke...what do you get if you play country music backwards?
You get your girl, job, and dog back.
Mama, Trains and Prison.

I liked it - thanks for posting.

Lucero is one of my favorite bands. I’ve seen them several times They put on a great show. Lots of killer material.
Did some research on the artist (Lubomyr Melnyk) and due to his piano technique, it is impossible for any other concert pianist to duplicate as he has the ability to play 19 notes a second (on each hand).
So that's another rabbit hole I'll have to explore.
Lera Lynn, I’ve heard her before. What a talented performer!
Great song.
It’s been prominently featured on Sirius XM recently. Outlaw Country (channel 60). Arguably, the best location in the SXM lineup.
Hope things in CT are well...
LEL
Outlaw Country is one of my presets and yes, I have heard the song played there.
There’s also a new station (app only) called “Y’Allternative” that is sort of a blend of alternative rock and country. “Where country music meets indie rock” is their tagline. It’s an interesting mix of songs and I heard “Outrun the Moon” on that station as well.
Much obliged, Sam.
I’ve obsessed on the Outlaw station for several weeks now and made their playlist redundant. Kind of like wearing out that one popular track on the album for which you recently traded your grass-cutting money....
Speaking of which, have you given a listen to the Sturgill Simpson bluegrass release? Believe it is called the Lawnmower Sessions. Great stuff....
Be well, amigo....I’ve been enjoying your musings/writings....
