This is what makes them rich people’s cars - the maintenance costs. You can find examples of late ‘90s Ferrari 355 right now for under $100k. Good luck trying to keep that thing serviced, though.

Not that bad if you are a gearhead and can pay attention; NO LOUD MUSIC IN THE SHOP.

My Ferrari friend likes to find them just before major service is due. He says everyone knows the cost of a major service, so that is subtracted from the sale price.

He has a day job the cars are a hobby.

Among the many items is cleaning EVERY connector on the wiring and apply some very expensive conditioner.

Like the painting Goldengate bridge, finish on one end and then start over...
